Justins camping trip

Here I am in my PJ's nice gloves aren't they? To say that I froze my keester of is an understatement. I have a nice -50 sleeping bag but of course Justin was nice and toasty in it!



So Justin has been looking forward to this camping trip all year lake it is at a place called bear lake. It is a quaint setting and was going to be on a Tuesday overnight until Wednesday. About 3 months in advance he had asked both Anna and I if we would stay overnight and be chaperones. Since Anna is breast feeding Abby and I can't lactate I said that I would be happy to. Then Justin volunteered me to be the medical expert. I went into his school and asked them what this entails and they said that since I was a nurse----Nurse???? No I am sorry I am not a nurse, I know that Justin told you I am a nurse but in fact I am a glorified Butt wiper. So they asked me what I do and I explained that I am a BLS instructor and I am a licensed first responder, and I told them about what I do in the ER. Well I unknowingly sold them on me and got stuck with the job. So 2 weeks in advance I look at the schedule and realize I am working a 12 hour shift the previous night ending at 0700 the day of Justins camp. I at first started to explain to Justin that I could not do this because I was working and started to see his bottom lip tremble. As the tears started to well up he said"that's OK Scott I know you would do it if there was any way you could. I ask who could say no to that? So I figure on calling in sick on Tuesday and go with him fresh and fully rested on Twin Bears day as he had began to call it. Well here comes the next monkey wrench. My supervisor called me in to her office and told me that I had specifically been requested to gi
