New ER

We in Fairbanks have been waiting for a long time to get a new ER that has more than 15 rooms. After a record number of patients that wanted to "see" the ER but "I'll take some pain medicine since I am here" We all toasted to the new one. Thank Goodness and I get to go on vacation so everyone can iron out the kinksToasting the last patient in the old ER just look at how small and closed in it is

Part of the old nurses station that sat next to the PA's desk. The desk from the previous picture is on the leftOur tiny junky waiting room and admissions desk

The triage desk if it was busy we would have to take out portable chairs and we would even put people out in the garage which was only a little 2 bay garageOur cluttered admitting DR area

One nurses station in the new ER there are 2 of these and eventually there is going to be 4 One of the new trauma bays it is 4 times the size of the old bays
I spot a Wacky and the running man, in the new admitting MD's area

A procedure room that is 2 times the size of the old rooms. All the rooms have glass doors and the all slide and open like normal doors. All the rooms have wireless monitoring capabilities.
The New Garage that is suppose to be able to fit 4 ambulance but can really fit 6
OOOHHHHH look at the curb side appeal
Look at that!!!
Our drive through garages

The other nurses station
The new admissions desk which is just hugeThe Security desk in the waiting area
One half of the waiting area

The Second half. This is ALL going to double in size in 2 years. It is just amazing!
