Nursing Grants Coordinator

Dear Mr. Norton,
Thank you so much for taking the time out to grant me an interview, and considering me for a grant. As I mentioned I have always wanted to become a nurse and the opportunity that your company is offering individuals like myself is a dream come true. As I have told you in my interview it has always been a goal of mine to work in a n Emergency Room as a nuirse. I have always wanted to help others and this financial backing that your company is offering will truely go to a student in need and one who will put it to good use.

I know that you are concerned about scholastic aptitude in all the applicants and I would like to prove to you that I am a worthy candidate. I am not only going to school to further mysef and my education, but I am also going to school for my family. Everything that I do has repercussions on my family. I have 3 children that I am studying for, along with my wife. I will not let anything get in my way. You mentioned that every applicant has to be able to write a strong essay. I am including a writing resume that will prove to you that I am up for the task.

In our interview you also mentioned life experience and maturity. I am a 32 year old male with a family of 5. I was previously in the military for 8 years. I was honorably discharged and eventually went to work as a house keeper. I then was promoted to Security guard, and went back to school. I graduated with a CNA license and went to work for a retirement home. After talking to the Emergency Room manager, I applied and was hired on as an emergency room technician. I have held this job for 5 years. While working in the ER full time, I have been going to school full time, had a child, and without child care, raised that child all at the same time. I think that you would agree that I cam manage a full time school schedule if I were granted this scholarship.

Once again, I would like to thank you and your company for considering me for this scholarship. I enjoyed talking to you and look forward to hearing from you in the future.

Sincerely,

Scott James Sochocki
