WHITE TRASH FIELD TRIP

When we got back form our road trip my sister Amy had told us about her favorite trip with the kids and Abby. It is what she called a white trash field trip. What you do is go to the local pet store and ask to hold all the dogs and play with the Kittens. Abby loved it! We of course were happy to go again with her on the next trip.Justin holding the cutest little Wiener dog in the world (besides Penny)
Look at that family you would think that they never get out
Mom going in the festivities and loving the little puppy
Abby chasing the cat toy. I think that she is going to get this for Christmas because she LOVED it
Another great picture of my sister and Abby's favorite place when in CT- My sister's arms
Abby trying to see what happens to a dog when you cut off it's oxygen (she is going to be a doctor- of what we have no idea)
Too CUTE
My Mel-Mel tell me she is not BEAUTIFUL!!!

When we were kids, our little rat terrier was tragically hit and killed in the road in front of our house. We went to eat pizza at our favorite place (Godfather's) a few weeks later... it was down the strip mall from the Petland pet store. Mom threatened us within an inch of our lives to NOT ask for a puppy. By the end, we had fallen in love with a little mutt. She wound up named Charmin because Amanda couldn't stop squeezing her... looked much like Abby's hold on the weiner dog!

I had forgotten all about that trip to the pet store. It was fun, but - I agree, Tiff - it really makes you want a dog.
Melanie and Emmy were looking at these blog pictures with me, and I had to leave the room for a minute. Emmy was reading the comments for Melanie. Melanie came to find me - all dejected - shoulders slumped, and a sad look on her face. She said "Uncle Scott said I was NOT beautiful!" I looked at the way you wrote the comment, and could see how she would misunderstood. I tried to make her understand, but I'm not sure she does!! How funny our English language is.
