Favorite things

Before I start I would like to express that these are my feelings and only mine if you do not like what I have to say go to another blog!!

That being said on with the soup, I have been watching "High Fidelity" lately and have started obsessing with lists myself decided to list them here where I can say anything that my little heart desires.
FAVORITE MOVIES THAT I CAN WATCH OVER AND OVER
1. Star Wars (all of them) -- The memory of watching these with my father on the very first VCR that we got ever and these were the movies that we had. I also remember getting the movie projector from the library and mom throwing a white sheet up to watch these, I still tear up on the first movie when Luke rappels across the bridge because it makes me think of those fun times. I remember waiting for HOURS to go and see Return of the Jedi, When the new ones came out I was in Korea and then with my sons going to see them.
2. All the Indiana Jones movies -- Again as good as these movies are it is the memories that goes along with them. Talking to dad about the plots and themes, Receiving bull whips, and Eric and I trying to get it to crack like Indie
3. Princess Bride -- One of the all time Greats. I remember going to this and what else do I have to say but "hello, My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die." and "There is a shortage of perfect breasts in the world t'would be a pity to ruin ones as perfect as yours"
4. African Queen -- I still to this day remember mom making me watch this movie every year and wondering what is so great about the movie. Now as I look at the acting and the plot I sit in awe and just marvel at the simplicity yet depth that this one movie carries, plus any movie with Bogie is worthy of a watch.
5. The Big Lebowski -- On of the funniest all time movies that I have ever watched. Jeff Bridges as the dude is right on and could not be any funnier plus Steve Buscemi as Donnie and John Goodman as Walter, Just remember "Nobody f@#ks with the Jesus"
6. Search for the Holy Grail -- Mike Burton got me this in limited edition and I have to be very careful with who I watch this with. They have to find it as funny as I do or I get really mad!!! This is one of the greatest from England and it should be appreciated for all that it is!
7. Gone with the wind -- I can watch this every Sunday and be a very happy man.
8. Outlaw Josey Wales -- On of Clint's best in my opinion, it has everything that a man could want fro a movie
9. Color Purple -- I know it is a chick flick but it is a damn good one and it has Danny Glover as "Mister" plus the music just rocks. I am going to see this on Broadway eventually, Count on it!!
10. A beautiful mind -- It just opened my eyes to the disease and made me give better care to the mentally Ill
11. The Usual suspects -- This was the movie that started all the twist endings and made you think back and want to watch it again
12. Friday -- I remember watching this movie at least 40 times

And that is it for right now I will continue this at a later time!!

Oh, I love the list! Though I have to say, I've never seen Gone With the Wind. I know, sacrilege! I think there's an angry southern mob on its way to my parents' house right now. I'm going to make a run for it!
