Linda Blair has nothing on me

We went to a lunch at a local restaurant and when there we usually order the steamer clams. It was just Anna, Abby, and myself. We got the clams and Anna had 4 or 5 then told me "honey do not eat those they don't taste good" to which I made the comment "I guess we'll see in the morning"

We Did, Again, and Again, and Again

We did not give any to Abby obviously but we think that it was passed through breast milk or perhaps through contact because I awoke to her vomiting and pooping green, Yes Green. Anna and I were running to the bathroom all night long.

Note to self.. Listen to your wife and stay away from steamer clams when the nearest ocean is 3000 miles away!!!

I'll trade it all for 1 more hour of sleep

Well I am particularly happy today because I found out that I have a B maybe an A in A&P II. I want to write something witty and funny but all I can say is THANK GOD it is almost over!! After this I only have one more prereq and then I will be done. I applied to the RN program at UAA and think that I am a pretty competitive applicant. All I need to do is take a English correspondent course over the summer and do well on the NET and I might actually have a light at the end of the tunnel.

Next thing to conquer is my triple hernia surgery. I am going to have 4 weeks off and I will enjoy every second of it, but until then I am a hurting puppy. The other day the spinning nazi got off her bike in the middle of class and started to try and adjust my seat. "Sorry but my knees are going to point out for a while"

I am going to try and have the DR take pictures, Until then......

Anna is going to be pissed

Those of you that do not know us we are in a constant state of ever improving our home up here in Fairbanks. Most my wife and I agree upon and some we don't. For example we agreed that we needed another bedroom down stairs, we agree that we need to get rid of the retro wood paneling on the one wall in the living room

We did not agree on the new color of the kids bathroom and now epileptics go into full blown seizures upon glancing at the yellow color in the room, we did not agree on the green color for the boy's room and even though I protested that in 6 months the boys would not think that the "hulk" green would be cool and again I conceded.

Well upon entry of the spring we are in agreement about almost everything except which order to do things. I say get the stairs fixed after I finish the two other jobs that I started and have not finished. Anna wants to start to do a mosaic on the fire place to which I am fully supporting her and Justin doing but at a later time, in my opinion it is a winter project. Now I told you that to tell you this (always wanted to say that)

We are on the look out for new tile as well as spare tile for our mosaic. Any tile you want or have ship it up!We will take any and all and incorporate it into the mosaic

We were going to begin working hard in the yard and on the house and I went and got my Carhartt's on. I looked over at Abby and asked if she wanted to wear hers and she squealed. That is all it took and we went to Lowe's, Home Depot and I thought that we were looking cute so we went to visit Anna at work. Go ahead, look and tell me we weren't looking like two peas in a pod

Hell table for two please

Long time no hear but considering the amount of comments left on the blog I feel ashamed that I ever let it go so long. AHEM, So couple of stories to tell and explain why Beelzebub has reserved a place for me along side Anna in the after life.

Reservation number 1

All day long Joseph had been having a bad day and bye that I mean that he was being defiant, snappy, air headed, EXTREMELY mean and picking on his brother, rude and generally in all purposes living up to being a 8 year old boy. So Anna and I were watching Americas most wanted and Joseph was cleaning the kitchen very uncomfortably because he is deathly afraid of AMW but the draw of the TV is to much for him so he starts watching even though he knows he shouldn't. For some reason an idea pops into my head and I start the ball rolling I send Joseph to his room and foresight told me that he would hide on the stairs and listen to the TV. Of course he does just that and in my mind I can see the trap setting. "Hey Anna we have to watch this because of that person on the loose in Anchorage" Anna looks at me and a glint crosses her eyes, she knows just what I am doing and follows suit. "But Scott I thought that person was spotted in Nenana?" (about an hour and a half away) "We do not know that is why we have to watch but I do know that the guy breaks into houses through the bottom window." At this point Joesph just loses it and starts to cry and say that I am just being mean. How can I be so mean to make him sleep downstairs with this "maniac" on the loose. I am giggling the whole time and he gets real mad and throws something. At that moment Anna sent him to his room at which he went down with great apprehension. I feel bad but not bad enough to let on. I follow and put Smokey in his room and tell him that I love him and not to worry nothing is going to hurt him and if a anyone is outside Smokey will bark and wake him up.

I get Justin and let him in on our secret and ask him if he would like to be in on the joke. Justin and I sneak outside and Anna sneaks downstairs, Justin starts banging on the window and frame, Anna started screaming outside the room. Joseph FREAKS out and leaves his mom out there to get mauled. But he does look out the window with a look of horror and I couldn't resist I jump into the window view and scream a blood curdling scream. He SHRIEKS and runs out of the room and we catch him and let him in on the joke. We also explained about why we did this and it is not nice to be on the recieving side of the joke. He forgave us and we told him it would be all over the next day forgive and forget, But not before we take pictures,

On to story number two and this is not as bad.Anna and I were cleaning out our room and closet when I came across a pair of panty hose that Anna had bought and never worn. I put them over my head pulled them tight and started to sing "been caught stealing" by James addiction paying homage to the video. Anna comments on how weird it makes me look, DING, "where is Joe?" "

I go out and pull it tight over my head and get in Joe's face and scream about 2 inches away from his face he looks up sees me screams and runs out the living room down the stairs and screams until he realizes what was going on. Sad part is I scared the crap out of him 5 minutes later.

short update

Got to make this short as I only have 10 minutes and I am training a new person here in the ER (pronounced eeeerrrr) Justin and Joesph both got EXCELLENT report cards. Abby now says "Hot dawg" "Badoo (Love you)" "PEEEESE" We had our friends Amanda and Sue over and when Anna fed Abby she put Abby's blanket over her to use as a cover. Today Abby brought her the blanket and said "Naanee peeese" Well must jet off will write later today.
